Had a morning and evening trip. A moderate downlake blow made it difficult to hit the spots on Colyar Ledge. We still had pretty good fortune in the morning on Silver Horde's Kingfisher Lite spoons in Chartreuse Splatterback. Mack's Cha Cha Squidders also caught fish. Speeds of 1.5 to 1.7 worked best to buck the wind and trigger the fish.

The beautiful Lake Chelan Landlocked Chinook was a wonderful bonus!

The evening trip was the first time I've ever had anyone fish in footy pajamas. We got a few fish on Colyar ledge with the same stuff as in the morning before the wind blew us out of there. One of the fish was a nice 6 pounder that was Abby's (11) first fish! We retreated to the monument area to get out of the wind and fished Worden Lures F7 Flatfish in Luminous Chartreuse to catch the kids some fish.

What a day!
