I went to pond 4 this morning to give a try at some crappie or bass using a jig and slip bobber tipped with a small piece of a night crawler. After about an of working the shore not getting an action or nibbles I decided to switch to jigging off the bottom using a mini jig tipped with a crawler still within about an hour I had 6 similar size trout I caught (I catch and release all trout unless their a real monster lol) I couldn't keep the trout off my jig I ended up hooking a pretty big sized trout that when I was bringing it on shore my line snapped and he took off with my jig and slip cork lol. All in all it was a good few hours of fishing even though I didn't catch what I was after I sure did have fun catching what I did. Ill keep at those crappie though eventually ill get into them, they can't dodge me forever lol.
