4/30/2013 5:36:00 AMThat is one thing that I have always wanted to do and that is find crappie on Alder Lake. I have kind of tried before but have never found them. Have you had luck in the past in there? I tried that old sunken forest on the south side of the main channel. Never touched a fish and have not been back. Not sure what I was doing.

4/30/2013 5:46:00 AMSeveral nice folks I met said they are there and that the fish a slab quality. I just don't think the lake has the numbers. I fished the old forest too and marked plenty of fish, but not one bite. I'm positive the fish are there. I'm going to give it another couple weeks and try again.

5/8/2013 9:09:00 PMJust moved here and living in Graham. Been looking at Alder lake and wondering if there is a web site that lets me know the lake level each day. Lived in Missouri around Truman Lake and Lake of the Ozarks and they actually would post the Lake levels on the news each day. Really helped out a lot. Getting ready to purchase a boat and would love to try and figure out the crappie pattern there at Alder Lake. Kind of looks like the lake might get really crowded in the summer.
