Got to the dock south dock at Blackman's at about 5:15. I casted out some florescent orange garlic power eggs with a 6 foot leader. My dad casted out the same rig. Not even 10 minutes later, BAM! Fish on! My dads rod was bent very deeply and the drag was running a bit. After about a 4 minute fight my dad finally landed the spotted lunker with the help of a nice man. Got it up on deck and bonked weighed it. It weighed 5 pounds flat on a spring scale and 4 pounds 9 oz on a digital scale. Not much to say after that other that it was really windy. Left at 6:20. Don't even try to come here tomorrow cause I think my dad caught the last triploid in the lake. JK XD. The only reason I rated this a 2 is because I didn't catch anything else. Based on this one fish I rate this a 5.
