we trolled wedding rings and homemade variations at 0.5 to 1.9 mph. We tipped them with salad shrimp or potskies eggs which worked good in the morning. The wind came up in the afternoon so I had to use my 115 hp motor to keep the boat under comtrol. This is why the trolling speed is so varied. We tipped the lures with worms in the afternoon.
