I Took my Son for a short trip to Spokane this week to visit family
On our way we took a short "stretch the legs out" stop off I-90 at Lavender Lake close to Cle Elum

it went something like this.

11:35 - pull off HWY and pull up to dirt patch next to lake about 100yds from HWY exit.
11:36 - get out of car and setup 1 rod with some stinky power bait, cast out towards the middle of the lake, tighten line and se the pole down
11:37 - watch the boy throw rocks in the lake
11:39 - watch the pole shake violently and watch boy pick up pole and set the hook
11:41 - see really good size fish come to shore and my son smiling big
11:42 - take picture of fish and son
11:43 - let fish go successfully back into the lake
11:44 - pack up gear back into car, jump in car and start it up
11:45 - pull back onto I-90 and continue east
