My son and I fished Swafford on Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday night. We had heard from the locals about the huge catfish in there and decided to give it a go. Friday night we got there right before dark and fished for a couple of hours, only catching one cat. We returned Saturday morning and fished next to the weed beds and caught bass, perch, and sunfish. We returned that night a little earlier than the previous night to catch the evening feed, and it was well worth it. Before dark we were catching more bass, perch, sunfish, and trout, and once it started getting dark the cats started feeding. For the next two hours it was non-stop action, we must have caught 20(only kept 6) cats ranging from 10-14 inches, it was great fun, those things put up a good fight no matter what size they are. Use a worm with garlic oil on it floated just above the bottom.
