Samish has been fishing great, with today being the only slowish day, but still limited around 9am. Last saturday got a solo limit by 8am, sunday 2 person limit by 6:30am. Wednesday 2 person limit by 7am. Thursday 3 person limit by 8am. Friday 2 person limit by 7:30am and today the toughest day with a 2 person limit by 9am. The fish are running smaller than last year, averaging about 11 inches but there are definetely other larger fish in the lake, with many showing up around 14 inches. Thursday was a big fish day with 5 fish at 14 inches and a monster 17 incher.

Early in the week all the fish were coming on the surface, but with the warm weather the fish are going deeper fast, with most fish around 20-30 feet now on the downrigger, but still spread from surface to 40 feet. Red/green wedding rings, dick nite dodgers and corn is getting it done!
