Damn low pressure systems.... always shut the bite off
counted 33 boats this morning
Got onto the water this morning and worked the whole lake almost. Had my kokanee rookie cousin Hanna with my this am hoping to get into her first silver football. after a half dozen or so fished hooked we finally boated one just after 9am in the middle of the lake. a few more on off and we had our second fish of the day. At one point i did a bait check/re-rig and we had a 4" kokanee hanging off of one of my spinners! One of the slowest days I have had this week! But I got Hanna into a few kokanee and she now has the "fever" that consumes me on a daily basis. Went over alot of schools of fish that would refuse our offerings, wednesday everytime i went over a school i got a hit. Ii hope it heats up before tomorrow.
Rod 1- Dick-Nite pink splatter and a white/pink Kokaneekidfishing.com spinner, shoepeg and DNA scent
rod 2- Dick-Nite wonderbread and a green/orange Kokaneekidfishing.com spinner, shoepeg and krill scent
both poles caught fish.
trolling speed- i dont know, the wind blew us all over the lake
Parked at the dock for about a half hour and caught a few perch. Blurock pulled up next to us and we enjoyed some conversation and caught a few little perch snacks for later.
Now im just re-tying leaders and dreaming of a $1000 check :)
