Took my girlfriend and ran to Green lake for some evening fishing. The docks were full so we walked around trying to find a clearing near the lily pads on the west side. Took awhile to rig up 4 poles and get them in to the water. My casting into the trees was the biggest issue at first, but I blamed that on using new bait-caster setups as I grew up with spinning gear ;) The rod on the left was pink power bait on bottom, middle was worms that I float just off the bottom with power bait, and the right side was my light 6lbs gear with worms on a bobber. My final cast with the light gear landed on the wrong side of edge of the lily pads and I was so busy removing rod 4 from some trees when my bobber ran off. It was a really nice fish but it had wrapped my leader around the pads and had to brake it off at the hook. Over all it was just nice to get out and fish, we parked around 7:45pm and left at 10pm.
