Gave Green Lake a shot tonight knowing a cold front was moving through for the next few days. Glad I brought my jacket with me because it was windy. The water was choppy the entire time from the west. Fished for 2.5 hours till it got dark after 8PM. I went 3-4 with one long distance release. All of the trout were stocker size.

One of the fish that I caught was a recent stocker from last week probably. It was about 8 inches long with leader line out of its throat. Somehow it managed to swallow my egg hook too. After I removed my hook, I pulled on the leader. Out came a bait holder hook with 3 power eggs. Either this trout broke somebody's leader or someone cut the leader because it was small. Guess we will never know.
