This was our second trip to potholes and wow it was good, Fished lind coulee, when we first arrived there was alotof boats in an area out from the island we tried it for a bit but was only small fish, so I tapped into the memory bank, i soon rememberd one small fish and move the odds of larger fish being there is slim, also it was windy so we found a couple areas that had good structure and the fish would be facing into the wind, It took some trying of variuos color's and blade options but once I put on a rig with hammerd brass blade, three amber pearl beads and a slow death hook it was on, caught our last ten fish in 10-13 feet of water in about thirty minutes smallest fish 17 inch largest 22 inch they are nice fat fish in that reservoir, We will be going back for the next couple of weekends, have really enjoyed it over there, the folks at mardon resort a great, the bbq is great and the beer is cold, so hay what else could you ask for, Oh where is the frenchman area at? can anyone help me out with that info.

from Mardon go past the state park launch and stay to the left. It is the water way that goes right by the state park.
