We first arrived on Friday but decided not to fish right away because it was mighty hot so we hung out at camp for a while then Saturday morning we headed over by the pens by coulee play land and were gonna fish for something that would bite then as we arrive we see a few fish swimming around about 7ft out they were bass of course so we decided to try to catch some and right off the bat we caught a 2lb. bass then I pull out my cast master and cast about 20ft out and start bringing it in and caught a 4lb bass 17inches! i was fighting it. at the end of the day we had 10 bass, 1 trout, 1 triploid, and a big sun burn. the bass all weighed lb or more. We fished there all the days caught plenty of bass the one trout we caught was 22inches. we caught most of our fish by using a night crawler and floating it off the bottom. in the morning and evening are the best times to fish for bass there.
