Fished behind the SPU track. My friend caught a bag and I caught a sculpin while drop shotting worms.

Also there were a lot of little fish jumping. I tried worms and a bobber to try and get one to see what they are, but they wouldn't take. Anyone know what they are?

Was there couple days ago, is there still fuel coating the shoreline? Could of been baby bass or trout surfacing.

If you are after Rock Bass in that spot, wait until just after the sun sets. try dropshotting 3 inch plastic worm pieces or a bit smaller. Split-shotting with similar bait is also effective. The bite is better when the fry are not jumping all over IME.

I seen them jumping today. Watched them jump and catch small bugs. Think they are probably brown trout or salmon from the winters spawn. Last time at Shilshole there were a lot of fingerling coho's. Don't think the bass will be that size july or august
