I've been fishing this dock for the past 3 evenings & will go again here in a little bit. Most of the guys are fishing with power bait or power eggs. I caught a bullhead catfish one day & a little perch the next & one of the days a nice man gave me one of his trouts. The regulars are really nice & helpful & have given me wonderful advice. A couple of the old timers were more than happy to sit & chat but moved along when the dock became more crowded with younger fellas. All in all, I'm enjoying the location & after trying the catfish (in spite of how ugly & creepy it looked), it actually tasted pretty nummy so I'll be going for more of those! Most of the time, I'm seeing guys catch there limit of 3 trout but yesterday was a bit slow.

By the way the full name of that particular catfish is brown bullhead. Yellow and brown bullhead are the best eating catfish there are, In my opinion. Nice catch, that looks good size for what it is.. Thanks for the report.

Thank you! I'm guessing it was around a foot long. I figured out how to clean/skin him and he was mighty tasty! I've gone back a couple of times since then but no more catfish caught. I'll keep trying!
