Had a great day on Hayden, it was the first time I had ever fished there and luckily I had a friend who has fished there for years! We hit the north arm looking for warmer water and maybe some spawning fish. Well we found them after just an hour or so some prespawn and some post spawn. I am guesing that that really hot week we had sent a bunch up to spawn and other are just starting and some more still waiting. We caught about 35 between the two of us and almost all on Senkos, grubs, and lizards. Darker colors were the best and fish were positioned on the transistions from shallow to deep. They were not up shallow and we couldn't get them to bite deep but inbetween in 8-10 feet was the sweet spot.

90% LMB and 10% SMB

Largest of the day I caught and are pictured almost a 4lb SMB and a LMB just over 4lbs and the small one pictures was about 2lbs.
