Got a late start this morning to avoid most of the rain. Got on the water about 9am, little bit of rain and the water was pretty choppy, but not to bad. Decided to motor straight to the SE corner and troll up the 70ft line. Poll was in the water about 2 minutes and pulled a 10 incher in. Stayed on course and didn't see many fish, so we pulled up the gear and motored back to our starting point. Had my downrigger rod in the water for a few minutes and decided to get my flat line in the water. As I was baiting my line, I looked at the sonar and saw a decent fish, I instantly looked at my downrigger and it was tugging, pulled in a nice 15 incher. Lost the fish after that and had to get off the water due to some unexpected phone calls. Good day considering we were only there for a few hours. Both fish pulled in bit the green wedding ring with green spinner, hooked up to a 50/50 chartreuse Dick Nite dodger. Lost 1 or 2 on the flat line with an orange wedding ring on a pink spatterback Dick Nite dodger.
