I fished out of my 12 foot Wilderness Systems Tarpon kayak and had the most success trolling a gold Blue Fox spinner. This little lure seems to attract trout in every lake.

From about 11 am I headed straight across from Idyllwood Park. I paddled to the helicopter and then cross the lake again. Not even a hit. I went all the way down on the west edge of the lake hugging close to docks until I was near Weowna Park. I turned around and headed back north again. No hits yet. Then when I was about 1/4 mile from Idyllwood I took two squawfish on a Krocodile Spoon tipped with worm. These squawfish went to the bald eagles later on.

I paddled all the way to the edge of Marymoor Park and tossed some frogs in the lily pads. Nothing. So I did a few figure eights and big circles up on the northeast end of the lake and within twenty minutes I picked up a couple of trout. I missed a few fish as well. Here I saw a group of eagles looking hungry and watching the water closely. There were some people on the boat near me taking photographs of the eagles and I figured this was a great time to leave them eagles a squawfish or two. The eagles swooped down and took em and the gapers took their photos of the eagles.

Saw two fellows up north catching perch and one fellow working the lily pads for a long time. A great day on the water.
