Hit the lake at 7 am. We were fishing for Crappie and caught everything but Crappie. Lots of catfish and perch. Caught one 17" rainbow. I gave it a "3" because we caught a lot of fish just not what we wanted. Any advise on where the Crappie are and I'm all ears!

I don't know if they are doing it yet, but the crappie will feed on the surface on insects for an hour before sunset. Check the old previous reports for more info. Any size to the catfish?

Sounds like a good amount of action. I'm also curious about the size of the catfish you caught. Perch are tasty! Were they decent sized?

Bobber and jig after sunset. Over near the creek on the northside. Right in the edge of the pads.

Cats were brown cats about 1 to 1 1/2 pounds. Pretty fat. Thanks for the crappie info
