We actually got there on the 24th of May, set up camp, and went fishing along the wall on the west side north end of the lake. We used a small dodger, with 1 oz. weight, and a wedding ring. Caught a nice 15" holdover and thought this is going to be good. The Algae in the lake was really bad, brown. We fished until Sunday the 26th of May, changing gear, Pop Gear, Dick Nights, Worms, Red Eggs(Pautzee)sp. Power bait. We stayed at the north end of the lake and caught maybe 4 other trout, 8 to 10". When we left Sunday, we were sitting in the restaurant at Jack's Resort, and a guy fishing off the bank, caught a 4 1/2 pound rainbow trout. Biggest trout I have ever seen caught at Jameson. He was using power bait. Fishing is usually good, except when the Algae is present.
