Went on my first Northern mission this morning. Alarm goes off at 2:45 and it was very hard to get outta bed. Pulled into the lake at 4:15. got out to 35' of water and went to set a down rigger and the first fish of the day didnt even let me get the ball in the water. Nice little koke for cavanaugh! Rebaited the pole and set to 10 ft instant fish on and the second fish was in the boat for the morning. Finally got both poles out and seen some fish about 10' off the bottom in 60' of water, dropped down the pink splatter and pink spinner and pulled a 16 incher!! Reset that rod and about 5 min later was into a double and tagged out for the morning, by 5:45am..... Hour drive back home and I was sitting in the recliner drinking coffee before anyone was outta bed!

Gear was the usual! Spinners, dicknite dodger, W.S. Corn and procure garlic plus scent.
Depths 10-25 were hot

360, that is an awesome Koke for lake Cav. 2 years ago I was fishing that lake all the time for kokanee, and did really well. I never saw one though over maybe 12-13". Almost a little too quick of a day on the water, just to turn around and drive S. for an hour, lol.
