I fished for a little more than an hour on Saturday night and caught 5 pike plus two quick releases right by the boat. I fished for an hour Sunday morning and missed a few, but they weren't as aggressive as they were in the evening. I didn't stay for the NIPA weigh-in but my dad saw it and said that the big bag was a 4 fish 40+ lb creel with the kicker fish being a 42"er weighing 24 lbs! However, the fish Saturday night were aggressive and fought hard. I didn't come across any big ones, but the fish I did encounter were hungry and I only missed a few. Pretty good for a short evening!

Great report, and cute picture! I am hoping to get out on Father's Day for a pike outing. Can I ask what area of the lake you were fishing? We are moored on the north end, was thinking of working Cougar Bay near our marina and have had luck in the back of Mica Bay, but also have access to a boat mid-lake @ Rockford Bay.

I typically fish on the south end. I'm thinking I might make a run up north this weekend to see how it compares! It's hard to leave fish to find fish, but it's fun to explore new water. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those bays. I would suggest finding the shallow water in the back of those bays if they're in the same condition as areas to the south. That's what I'll try on Saturday if it works out. I've been keying on weedy areas, so bring something weedless! Good luck on Father's Day... I hope you knock 'em dead.
