On the water around 12:30 with buddies muskyhunter and Ryan. Began finding active fish shortly thereafter. Most active spots we found were in or near weed beds close to deep water. Had multiple follows using various gear such as bucktails and Bulldawgs. I had a very small musky slam a Rapala Super Shad Rap at boatside but opted not to set the hook(way to small) a few minutes later and I hooked up with a bigger one on the same lure, good fighting fish for its size.Water temps ranged from upper 60's-low 70's.

Remember the 50 inch rule minimum

Hey Quad, yeah,I'm still around just haven't done much musky fishing as of late.Mostly making perch trips with my son but finally able to concentrate more on tigers, bass and maybe some walleye trips in between my drives to north Idaho for northerns. Also been busy with hockey but time for me to switch gears for camping and fishing.
