So the trip was awesome guys, thanks for all the pre fishing info! Started out last weekend fishing Friday morning on Banks Lake, started at Barker Flatts fishing 5-7ft of water. My son got one right away on a Crankbait (smallmouth) and I got one about 30 min later on a jig. We headed over to a small cove and chucked senkos and tubes in pads/weeds and caught 2 more fish (1 smallie, 1 largie). Then headed over to the punchbowl and fished the reeds at the south end. Caught 2 more, both largemouths. We had a blast. Nothing huge but great 1.5-3lbers. We also went to blue lake Saturday morning and hammered smallmouths on the docks with tubes and zara spooks! Awesome fishing there! We were staying at sun lakes resort and hit that lake Saturday night and ended up getting 2 nice smallmouths and a whopper of a largemouth 4.7lbs. What a great trip and my son loved it! Real reports, Real pics! See you on the water...
