Side note: Looks like this fish may have a sore on his lip, I was at a different lake a few weeks ago and half of the bass we were catchin had some sores. Anyone know the reason behind that?

Nice fish !! The bass in that lake are getting bigger and more plentiful. To bad their planning on killing them off next season.

Catch and release? Why? Not when the local trout guys demand that it has to die!

Deptartment of Wildlife is getting ready to poison all the bass in Badger and Williams lakes merely to please trout fishermen (and I use the term "fishermen" loosely).

Take a look at the photos on the wall at Bunker's resort store and restaurant - people have been coming to fish these lakes for over a hundred years. The wholesale poisoning and sterilization of the lakes didn't start until 1950 or so.

The only reason most trout fishermen flock to these lakes is because it is easier to harvest fish there than at the Safeway meat counter.

Fishing for Bass is a lot more fun - however it takes more skill as well.

Don't let WDFW poison these lakes.

Taxpayer dollars are being spent to kill wildlife and to enrich
those that do the killing.
