Arrived at Devereaux around 3 PM and saw that I had the lake was more or less to myself. I set up my float tube and paddled out to the center of the lake. First fish was about a half an hour later on Pink and Yellow PowerEggs about 3 feet off the bottom. Caught another about an hour later before the bite slowed down significantly. Tried throwing some rooster tails as there were fish jumping but no luck. Around 6 PM decided to allow the wind to help me drift in to the boat launch and switched to Orange PowerEggs off the bottom. Around 6:15 had another fish. As soon as I cast after fish 3 I had my fourth fish on the line! It wasn't long before I limited out. All told, it was a great day at Devereaux with my largest fish measuring in at around 14 inches with nothing smaller than 10 inches.
