Fished Merwin with brother in laws and my wife. Had 2 poles in the water at all times but my wife and I didn't fish. We fished up by the Dam to the point and caught many fish (22) with most of them being 13-15 inches. Problem is getting snagged using down riggers set at 45 ft. We used green/translucent white hootchies with double tandom hooks tip with corn. Never changed colors / depth all day and consistently had action. Never made it to the houses since there was so much action at the point. We hugged the shore in about 90 ft but terrain changes so fast that easy to get hung up. Lost at least a dozen and had numerous other hits. . Great day for my bro-in- laws while I watched. Was going to try a green wedding ring with chrome smiley blade but no use with all the action. No pics but family memeber did have camera. He said it's either fishing or pics...he chose fishing.
