Got to the water at sunrise. Never fished the lake before and didn't check the reports. Was hoping for some trount and some crawdads. Dropped my pots right after launching baited with chicked quarters and Fuel brine. Then headed out to fish. Trolled a wedding ring with scent and also tried some power bait. No luck for me. It was overcast and sprinkling off and on, I called it a day pretty early. Nothing in the pots and nothing in the livewell. I wasn't into it and was pretty tired, I think had I stuck around I could have caught some fish. There were fish in there, plenty hitting the top and a lot of fish on the fish finder. I should have stuck around and got it dialed in. I'll return to this lake again this year and give it a good go. Total time on the water was about 2 hours.
