This is my first report in quite some time. Its been over a year I believe. Things in my life have been preventing me to go fishing as often as I used to, like school, other hobbies, ect. But I was finally able to make it out on a trip to American lake. My Dad and I showed up at the boathouse around 6:30 am. We fished around the bottom with chartreuse powerbait. This did the trick. We caught 7 good size rainbows between the two of us. Very consistent bite throughout the time we were there. We left around 11am with our catch. Other fish caught were a few perch, too small to keep, the usual dozens of rock bass, and a little smallie bordering 1lb (which was caught with a nightcrawer). Very good day of fishing, and I hope to go fishing more often again and start contributing to the site again.
