So me and my dad gave the dock along Centennial Trail at Lake Cassidy a try last Sunday. I tried for brown bullheads and crappie, and my dad targeted Rainbows.
All I caught was a tiny little Yellow Perch on a Bette's Beetlespin with a small earthworm on the hook, and my dad caught a tiny baby Largemouth Bass on a Powerbait marshmallow of all things. Used a nightcrawler to try for brown bullheads, but kept getting snag after snag after snag.
I guess a small aluminum boat is the key if I'm going to get anything substantial out of this lake. This was only my second time fishing Cassidy, but my late grandfather fished Lake Cassidy everyday when he was a little kid.
