I took a break from the pinks and hit greenlake for trout to see if anything still happens there. I managed to fish between 1 and 3:30, right before the storm. The weather was cloudy but not bad, some moderate wind but no rain.

On one rod I put power eggs and on the other I tried different spinners. The power eggs didn't work that well. All I got was a small trout after I shortened the leader to 3 ft.

I got a nice size trout on a rooster tail spinner and then when I tried to lift it on the dock it broke my leader :( . I need to get a net, sometime it's useful even for trout. The only other fish I got was a perch on the spinner.

There was only one person fishing in vicinity and he had one nice trout as well.

Overall not bad for this time of the year and better than I expected considering the weather.
