There was a newspaper report that the big one's were biting on this lake according to lawnchair fisherman by the launch. Lot of trailers parked. He suggested still fishing around the point directly out with green power bait. Plenty of parking and most frontage on a public access we've seen besides American. Nice clear water. Sunshine slight breeze. Shoreline appears to be nearly solid houses. Didn't follow this advice long being that it was like fishing in a boat parade with all the comings and goings. Head off to the deepest hole as per handy topo map here. Jeanie clipped on a Uncle Wes spinner and caught a fifteen inch rainbow soon after. Big fun reeling it in. Never saw anyone else catching anything. Most boats congregated together opposite side. Jeanie's whooping must been audible clear over there. Plenty of boats moved over. We trolled out around. Over near the lakeside bar hooked an antique Budweiser can. Really thought I had something by the way it kept diving. Managed to drown a few more worms.
