Took my dad and a guy from work yesterday to see what we could find. We were the first boat in the parking lot but we beat by 6+ bankers who had only caugt one small fish at that point. The water level is still down so launching wasn't the smoothest. Ran all the way to the other end of the lake and started trolling running 5 lines, 4 lines on the DR's and one long lined out the back 200' with a Rapala, Brown Trout pattern. The DR' rods were a couple Apexs and some bladed&beaded Hoochie rigs run behind gang troll and sling blades. The Rapala was real active fist thing in the morning with all small 13"-14" fish that were thrown back. We picked fish on all lures until about 1100. We did not catch a single fish while trolling in front of the cabin and then started getting bit pretty heavy again about the middle of the lake. There were fish on the surface all day long but I stayed deeper trying for something bigger. If you had planner boards you could have had a banner day i would guess. We trolled right by countless fish rolling or high finning the surface all afternoon. We released all but 7 fish that were over 16" and switched to all Rapalas when we started getting close to our limit using bait. IT was the most traffic on this lake I have ever seen, but with how great the weather was yesterday you really can't complain. One intersting note is that we only caught rainbows at the far end and Browns closer to the launch. I stayed mostly out in the middle of th lake while most boats seemed to be up alot tighter to the shore.
