My son and I took our boat to the north side of the lake near the Campbell lake motel and dropped anchor right in front of the huge patch of lily pads. We were in 4 to 6 feet of water and the fish finder could barley keep up with the action below us. My son had more fun watching the finder and seeing all the "LUNKERS". Tried two different color worms and had no luck so I switched to a 6 in. brown leach still rigged up Texas style. WHAM! It didn't even hit the bottom. The first two fish were 5 and 6 pounds. Shortly after that my son helped me net one that was 7.5 pounds. These bass are fat! Also had good luck on big fat crawlers. Presentation is the key and I only use six pound test to achieve that. Best of all we had the whole lake to our selves. GOOD LUCK.
