Well.. we were on the lake by 8 this morning and while trolling with a wedding ring and small blade with a night crawler on 2 hooks i caught 2 small 6 inch yellow perchs. near the far end i started with a rooster tail and started casting and caught a small 7 inch smallmouth bass. caught another perch with a rooster tail. tried spoons and didn't get any bites and tried various ways of fishing for bass near the lilies including poppers and frogs but still caught nothing. around 10 am the wind picked up but I still tried for some fly fishing on a small fishing dock i found at the far end and caught nothing. started trolling again and caught a common carp near the bottom with a worm and wedding ring. easy lake to fish but be careful of lilies and weeds. saw someone bringing in a 2 foot trout so there are some good trout out there. my guess is a rooster tail will get them. hope this helps!
