Fished Clear Lake near Sedro-Woolley this morning. On the lake by 7, left about 11, because of the wind mainly. Fished flies, spoons, kastmasters, wedding ring w/ worm, small hot shots, and even resorted to power bait, all without any luck. Only fish of the day was a small mouth that hit a hotshot about 20 yards from the boat launch. Only 2 other boats out with the same luck. 2 other shore fishermen, one that cleaned out a good sized catfish at the ramp. Last year at this time there were fish everywhere on the finder, not so this year. Maybe with warmer weather and warmer water, this lake will improve. Holiday Market reports 70k trout fry released on this lake last fall. If so there was no evidence of them there, or else they've all become food for the bigger ones. Anyone else out there had luck at this lake??
