Back on Hayden early yesterday. Launched at545 and there was already 4 other trucks in The parking lot. 20seconds after dropping the first line down 25' I had my first koke of the day and was pumped for a great day and then my kicker started acting up. Speed is the key right now and my kicker kept dying at idle which is the speed needed of course. I didn't have any thing to drag to slow me down enough so I tried to make do with heavy turns to get the inside lines slow and was able to pick up a couple more fish. Called it around noon out of frustration. My buddy who I fished with in my last report was out with his brother running the same setups and same depths caught 15 fish, the one difference was the speed. They are all good size fish 15-18.

Thanks for the update. I wil be out there on Saturday. I have a trolling plate on my 60HP outboard and can get down to 1 MPH. How deep were they ruuning?

Top 40 ft for me, but another guy in a different part of the lake was fishing 50-70'
