Took the family out to see if we could find some Kokanee. The plan was to launch at the City Launch but couldn't get to it due to a rowing event going on so had to put in at Willard Park. On the water by about noon, motored over to the south east, rigged the downriggers and we were off and running.

The rowers had thier course set up set up east/west across the lake essentially (at least looked to me) splitting the lake in 1/2. I didn't see anybody fishing the north end of the lake and since we were just shaking the cobwebs off I didn't bother to try to find a way around the course.

We trolled up & back a few times with no action, didn't mark any fish on the finder either. The wind was picking up, we were getting hungry and my kid was getting boord, so we went over and achored up in the SW corner out of the wind a little bit and pulled out the BBQ for burgers and dogs before heading home.

Saw 3 or 4 other boats out there with us and didn't see any fish caught anywhere. It was still a beautiful day for a picnic on the water!
