Both Jeff and Anton had nice family groups (the Da's from Bothell and the Cope's from Fountain Valley, CA) out for a mornings Mackinaw fishing. The bite started out blazing hot, then leveled off for the rest of the morning. Silver Horde's Needlefish Squid rigs with a Mack's Lures Smile Blade baited with piece of Pikeminnow in depths of 230 to 295 feet deep were smoking hot! A speed of 1.2 mph keeping those lures within five feet of the bottom was the ticket. It was an absolutely perfect weather day on Chelan with sunshine, temps in the 60's and calm winds.
