On the water around 12:30 with muskyhunter. Worked a few different areas using a mixed bag of crankbaits, tubes and swimbaits. mh was able to get a tiger musky interested as it followed from a rock point but that concluded any visits from fish for the day but hard to complain fishing with good company and great views of Mt.Rainier. Lake is at full pool. Saw a few bass anglers out but unknown results. Water temps peaked at 55.

Remember the 50 inch rule on tiger muskies and good luck on the water.

Yeah, a friend and I were in the brown Lowe bass boat and we threw everything in the tackle box at them and nothing. Didn't even see any fish or any signs of fish. We tried spinnerbaits, crank and jerk baits, Senkos, dropshot grubs/worms, jigs, etc. Tried deep, shallow, mid-water...nothing. I was surprised at the water clarity because I had read that silt from the White River makes light penetration very difficult which explains the absence of aquatic plant growth on the bottom. Water visibility was 10+ feet, except the mid eastern shore which was stained. Despite the water clarity, we were both shocked to not see any signs of fish...maybe in May things will be better.
