So, had one of my big dogs die, moved my mom-in-law in Oregon, my wife was sick, and I bought a new pickup. Needed stress relief. Fishing=Stress relief, therefore...
Went to 3 ponds, and caught 37 crappie, all on newly designed lures. Haven't even named them. 2 decent perch, and a number of puny bluegill. Most crappie 10-11 inches, but one went a little over 2 lbs. My I-phone camera refused to function, kept turning itself off, so I didn't get to take pix of fish or pickup, which didn't please my wife, since I don't get the pickup till they put in the bedliner. Said she's seen big crappie before. Oh, caught 4 trout, all about 12-14". They can be annoying, but still more fun than an empty line. Wasn't bad for bank fishing, but the wind finally drove me off. Couldn't feel the bites.
One guy at Pond 6 was beating the grass with a stick, so I checked it out. He was pounding on a poor snake, about 2' long. I mentioned they help keep the rodent population down, but he didn't really care, just kept whacking the poor dead snake, because it was TWITCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sigh...

Hi F.C. sorry to here about your dog we no he is in a better place. Sounds like everyone is do good at I-82 ponds when are you go to Moses let me know and I can meet up with you look forward to fishing with you God bless.
