We left Drano and Wind skunked, and we wanted to do a little catching before we left. So we went over to rowland lake just off the big C. We got into the stocker trout immediately. Floating gulp worms with garlic scent off the bottom. We were using about a 2 ft leader and casting out past the weeds. If you cast in the weeds you will want to use around a 4ft leader. Lots of fish hanging out in the lake, sometimes you would get a hit as your stuff was sinking. We caught our 5 fish each but only kept 2 that were gut hooked. Their stomachs were full of the little mysis shrimp and their meat was already getting a nice orange to it. We were even joined by another drano lake fisherman that was skunked and wanted to do a little catching as well haha.
