Decided to go out for a couple hours and had a blast. Not 10 minutes at the dock when i got my first fish. nothing special but not tiny either. Then i had about 40 minutes of nothing. I decided to cast a little farther beyond where i landed the first fish and it was bite after bite. about a half an hour before I left I felt a big tug on my line so I set the hook and was surprised how much fight was in the fish. I started bringing it in and I can only assume it was a triploid because it actually was putting up a fight. The fight didn't last long though becuase I felt it spit the hook about 20 seconds after I hooked into it. Still I landed 5 fish and lost 2 and had a lot of bites that didn't hook up.
The weather was warm and sunny and the fishing was good. I give it a 5 star day. Oh and I've been finding that using pink and white powerbait mice tails have been driving them wild lately. I caught one last week that I kept and he swallowed the whole thing. when i got him home his belly was full of powerbait dough. I was kind of surprised he took my bait with so much dough in his stomach.
