Mom wanted to go fishing for Mothers day and who am I to deny her! Her and my brother are not early risers so I launched about 6am and tried to get dialed in a little bit before they arrived. 1st fish came right off the bat and off the top before I could even get the line in the clip. Nice 14" fish in the boat. Boated 1 more and lost another before my brother called to say there were at the dock.
Picked them up about 9:30 and headed out again. We found where they where hanging out and with 4 rods in the water we conistantly were getting hookups between 5 and 15' and about 2 hits per pass. Mom lost 3 or 4 off the bat as she is used to Walleye so was being a little more agressive bringing em in than you need with these soft mouthed fish but got in the grove soon enough.
Trolled around until about 1:30 and her and my brother were able to boat 9 more before calling it a day.
Fish ranged from 12-16", all chunky. We did get one on a brass wedding ring but pink was definately the hot color, a few fell to a Pink stripe DickNite flasher and a Wannafishalure Pink Ice lure but the majority hit a little experimental lure I tied up last week behind a DickNite 50/50 flasher. Guess I'll have to tie up some more :)

I don't know that I am "hooked" yet. I'll admit they are a fun distraction until the local rivers open up ;)

Nice Catch! I was out there on mothers day and only pulled two kokanee and one trout, but it made for a great mothers day dinner! What was your depth?

We had 4 rods stacked on the DRs. 5', 10', 15' & 20'. 1 fish came off the 20' and a few at 5' and 15' but 10' seemed to be the sweet spot. I kept waiting for them to go deeper as the day progressed but they never did.
