I took my 8 yr. old son fishing at Lake Kapowsin today. We got there about 10:30 a.m. and fished from shore with a bobber and worm. We caught a couple little perch and released them. Then I switched to bottom fishing with a salmon egg and power bait trout nuggets. Game On!!! In about 4 minutes, I caught an 11 1/2 inch rainbow. Put another power bait on my hook and cast out then rigged up my son's pole for bottom fishing. Caught my second trout while rigging his pole. This time a 12 inch trout. Then my son caught his two trout in the same fashion. His were a 12 inch trout and a 12 1/2 inch trout. We left after about 2 hours. My new job has weird hours and I don't get to spend enough time with my son. We had a great time at the lake together. Oh ya, cooked those trout on the grill with butter, onions and bacon. Good Eating!!!
