Today's plan was to just cruise around Park lake with the sonar and make notes of some signicant drop offs and ledges for which to work when the gang gets here Friday so we can get the kiddo's into some fish. Also wanted to run up to Big Wally's and get some more walleye stuff to tie up for Moses Lake Wednesday.

Found what I wanted and then wanted to try out some new spinners I had tied up using trout beads and a green sparkle smile blade with a slow death hook. Put out the line about 80 feet behind the boat with just an ounce and a quarter of lead and no dodger with a pinched night crawler and sat back under the shade of my canopy to wait for a taker. Was getting hot today so was hoping for some quick action and was rewarded with a pull pull and then hammer down!! fish on! It was a scrappy rainbow that really wanted to play tug of war but finally landed it and into the ice chest.

Caught 3 more in a short period of time and wanted to quit in case I wanted to get back out later in the day so headed in and was off to Big Wally's for some gear and mojo to go after some tasty Walleye Wednesday!
