Three of us hit the lake about 10am...we were barely off the launch when I had caught my first 2 fish of the day. Within the next 10 min I now had 4 of my 5 fish limit in the boat. My dad & son hadn't even caught their first fish yet! I caught my 5th one soon after and by then my dad had a couple of fish in the boat and my son had one. We trolled around the lake on the west side and we hadn't even made it around the whole lake when we all limited.

I swear that was one of the fastest fishing trips I'd been on in a long time. We were trolling woolley buggers tipped with worms. Black, brown and olive were all successful. Pistol Petes also worked well. Fish were still high in the water, so we didn't use any weight on the lines. Fish were 10-12", maybe a couple of 13". Some were planted fish and some looked to be holdovers. No pictures this time.

It was a bit breezy when we first arrived, but for the most part the wind died down. Sun was out. It was a good day on the lake. Only a couple other boats on the lake, one looked like he was bass fishing.

We were off the lake at 11:30 and we had a great day of fishing! Love this lake!!
