Got to the lake later than I would normally go, but didn't seem to matter as much as I thought because we were still able to catch our limits, although it did take longer than the day before when I was on the lake. We started trolling west away from the boat launch, then headed down the west side to the south end of the lake. We seemed to do the best trolling through the deep water between the east side & the west side at the deep end of the lake. I believe it was about 55ft deep where we seemed to be the most successful.

High clouds with some sun breaks and a threat of rain a few times. Overall a nice day to be on the lake. Water temp on top felt warm. I was trolling Pistol Pete's with a worm taster and did quite well with this combination. My partner was trolling crappie jigs tipped with worms and was also successful. We both limited in about 2 hours. We caught mostly 10-12" trout, with a couple 14" ones. Good fight in all the fish caught. Lots of jumpers. Lost a few right at the boat before I could get them netted..overall a fun day of fishing on the lake.

Rated it a 4 because we had to work a little harder today to get our limits. More time between fish being caught.
