The good news, the spawn is over on this lake! The bass have moved out, there are fry balls roaming around and the old beds are being utilized by pumpkinseeds. The water was fairly stained in places unfortunately. Looked like a little algae and dirty from the previous days winds possibly? Water temps were pushing 70* and the lake level is definitely down. The grass near the outlet creek is thick so be ready, that stuff will shut down a trolling motor real quick! I caught 2 dinks and missed two larger fish, one on a frog and one I lost on a Senko both in the 3-5lb range I would guess. The dinks took a straight tail finesse worm drug through the grass.

Looking forward to the post-spawn, it's awesome to see the smaller lakes getting as warm as they are and the fish dispersing back out of the shallows, good luck out there.
