I've been fishing silver quite a bit this season during the afternoon after school gets out. I've been doing quite well throwing top water frogs over the slop, and senkos in any open areas. Yesterday, me and a buddy went after school. We hit a dink right when we got there, but didn't touch another for the next 3 hours. Right before we were about to leave I pulled out one that went around a pound.
I fished solo this past Sunday, and did quite well. I caught 3 decent fish, and then for the last fish of the day I caught my personal best, right at about 5 pounds. I've fished silver probably 5 times since opening day, and I've caught fish every time I've gone. I recommend soft plastic top water frogs in a darker color, and a natural colored senko.
